I took a break from painting for a few years whilst studying, but joined the Ayr Art Circle when I moved to Ayr seven years ago and haven’t looked back. I use mainly watercolour, acrylic, and coloured pencil but also enjoy taking up a needle and thread for the odd project, and love painting ‘different’ items – my latest being a set of drawer pulls for a chest of drawers in a nursery. The majority of my paintings are of animals, either real or those from myths and legends.
