I took up painting after I retired some 15 years ago and now paint in acrylics having been locally taught.   I love the Scottish landscape, the mountains and the seas around the coast.   I am currently Secretary to the Ayr Art Circle and a member of the Ayr Sketch club.  I greatly admire the many talented artists that paint in this part of the world and who contribute to making the local exhibitions such a great success.
