​Doreen Aitchison uses oils, pastels, acrylics, and watercolour media in order to produce her art pieces. 

She has been locally taught after retiring from teaching in 2014 and enjoys painting for relaxation as well as visiting art galleries at home and abroad. Her friends and family support her in this hobby and they happily display many of her art pieces in their homes. Doreen is hoping to extend her experience by being a member of the Ayr Art Circle.
