Elena Kourenkova bold landscape paintings on the seashore

On Wednesday 16th April the Ayr Art Circle was treated to a painting display by Elena Kourenkova who wielded her pallet knife to create a display of leaning buildings on a seashore.

Many of her paintings are figurative but on this evening, she boldly laid on thickened paint to create a painting of textured strokes in bold colours, keeping us entertained with talk of her experiences as an artist and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
