Lorraine Johnston competition

On 2nd April Lorraine Johnston addressed the Ayr Art Circle about the challenges and rewards of being an author of children’s books. Lorraine has successfully published several books and she offered an entertaining account of her experiences including what works and what does not work and the challenges of working with an illustrator. She ended by setting the members a competition seeking to illustrate a specific page of her new book. Entries were judged four weeks later with prizes awarded.
