Elena's bold landscape paintings on the seashore

On Wednesday, 16th April, the Ayr Art Circle was treated to a painting display by Elena Kourenkova, who wielded her palette knife to create a display of leaning buildings on a seashore.

Many of her paintings are figurative, but on this evening, she boldly laid on thickened paint to create a painting of textured strokes in bold colours, keeping us entertained with talk of her experiences as an artist, and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
