Kelsey photographs and paints underwater pictures in Acrylics demonstration

On Wednesday evening 19th March, we invited Kelsey Todd to do a painting demonstration for the club.

Kelsey is a young Ayrshire artist who completed a Fine Art course at Ayrshire College. In her final year, she decided to focus on painting underwater scenes. This worked well with her hobby of wild swimming.

 

As you can see, she is having great success with this work and has sold many paintings, and is much sought after. She happily talked to us through her methods and techniques as her image emerged of the water from the canvas.
